Former Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh was takes his Last breathed at the Age of 92 on 26 December 2024. He was admitted to the emergency department in Delhi (AIIMS) Hospital of All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi after his health deteriorated earlier today.

Former Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh has passed away at the age of 92. He was suffering from age-related illnesses and suddenly fainted at his home on 26 December 2024. All measures to revive him were immediately started by the family members. He was admitted to the Medical Emergency of AIIMS, New Delhi at 8:06 pm on 26 December. Despite all efforts, he could not be saved and he was declared dead at 9:51 pm on 26 December 2024.
As Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh led India’s economy towards liberalization and globalization. But before becoming Prime Minister, he served as Finance Minister from 1991 to 1996 in the government led by Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, implementing reforms that helped greatly stabilize India’s economy.

Dr. Manmohan Singh was born to on 26 September 1932, in Gah, Punjab, British India (now in Punjab, Pakistan), into a family of Punjabi Sikh. His mother was died when he was very young. His grandmother Jamna Devi raised him, and he was very close to her grandmother.
